With over 400 wineries, Napa Valley is a perfect getaway for wine lovers. Not being a big wine connoisseur, when I head to Napa Valley, it's usually for the photography and, ok, maybe a glass of wine or two).
There is something about the green grapevine and the blue of the sky that my camera is drawn to.
Add in the rolling hills that surround the Napa Valley and the picture is complete.
A trip to Napa Valley isn't complete without a trip to our favorite winery. We discovered St. Supery's Cabernet Sauvignon back in 2003. When we visited Northern California back in 2008(when we lived in Austin,TX), we couldn't wait to see the winery in person . How nice it is now to be able to make the five hour drive south to the Vineyard(and the rest of Napa Valley) for a weekend getaway.
Whether you come for the wine, or the photography, a visit to Napa Valley will not disappoint.

I've never been to Napa, but my oenophile friend gave an excellent tour of Sonoma Valley vineyards.
