FFF_Took the Insurance Money and Ran(124/365)

Dear Sir,

We acknowledge your letter written on the 29th of June in the year 1967. We are very sorry about the damage done to your home and the loss of your car, along with other possessions, after the recent earthquake and resulting tsunami. After sending an agent out to survey the damage done to your residence, we have just one question. In such event as a total rebuild of your residence, is there some where else you can stay? We have enclosed a check for the appraised value of the building and other items lost in hopes you can rebuild.

Sincerely,
John Smith
ABC Insurance Agency

(The above is a work of fiction based on the above picture and my imagination. To my knowledge, there was no earthquake or tsunami in 1967 here in the Eureka area)

122/365 Life on the Bay

Living...and working on the water.
I do love living close to the water, but I don't think my nerves could take living an island in the bay during a storm.
