San Francisco!

Vineyard Closeups

He makes grass grow for the cattle,
and plants for people to cultivate
bringing forth food from the earth:

Wine that gladdens human hearts,
oil to make their faces shine,
and bread that sustains their hearts.
Psalm 104:14-15

Ceramic Stairway

I really love finding hidden stairways. I came across this one while walking down one of the side streets in Carmel...the beautiful tile design along with the detailed railings beckoned my camera!

197/365 Street(light)s of San Francisco

197/365
Street(light)s of San Francisco
I was totally enamored with the eclectic street lamps
in San Francisco!

There seemed to be a different style for each district

Even Chinatown had their own unique lamps

Now, all I need to do is to visit these same streetlights at night!!

Golden Gate Beauty
We started our San Francisco weekend off right
with a trip over the Golden Gate Bridge!

As you head south on Route 101 there is an exit right before you head over the bridge for Marin Headlands...
If you are ever in the area, take the exit!!

Especially around sunset!

When your BFF gives you a memory box before you leave New Jersey a lifetime ago and you keep it, and add to it, every time you see her....
Looking forward to seeing her again this week!

184/365 Pie Until I Die

184/365
Pie Until I Die
The Bluebonnet Cafe is a "must visit" whenever I visit
the Texas Hill Country. The pie is awesome...but the grits are divine!!

and for those of you who wondered....
I did get a few fireworks pictures...

No room for stabilization(tripod) though(we had a family of five squished on the tiny balcony outside of my hotel room :-) but they did capture the spirit...It was nice to enjoy the fireworks with no worries about any pups
getting spooked.
