35/365 Red Eyed Beauty

Black Crowned Night Heron playing peek a boo with me through the trees. 
We have a community of these beauties who spend the winter in the tangled trees of Arcata Marsh. It is always a treat to be able to see them basking in sun puddles between the branches!
