I have experience of the 'exploding' bullrushes, never thought of the hairspray trick, wish I had, what a great idea

Jumpin' Cattails this is the time of year mine explodes too. I hope mom doesn't put in hairspray on my tail.

i did not know they explode, i do know cotton explodes, so must me the same type thing. hubby says they used to burn these as torches. could we have a flaming one just for me????
