Extra fluffy cattails...I remember, when I lived back in New Jersey, cutting these down and placing them in a tall vase....and coating them in hair spray so they wouldn't "explode" in the house!

Jumpin' Cattails this is the time of year mine explodes too. I hope mom doesn't put in hairspray on my tail.

i did not know they explode, i do know cotton explodes, so must me the same type thing. hubby says they used to burn these as torches. could we have a flaming one just for me????
