As our second year in Humboldt County begins, I am realizing just why they call is Faugust instead of August. The days start out foggy....clear off between 10 and Noon and then the fog creeps back in between 3 and 5. No worries, I am more than willing to pay this price for the cool ocean temps!! I am lacking a bit of sun in my POD's unless I travel out of the county (where hot temps and blue skies take over :-)!

I just love the morning layers of Humboldt County.
The fog on top....the pond...surrounded by the greenery and scrub!
